BOCO RATON, FL, AUGUST 27,2011: LauraLondonFitness.com is hosting the first ever “Fit and Fabulous Hot Mom Contest.” The contest will be held on Friday, October 14th, 2011 at 7pm in conjunction with the Ruby Championship Weekend. The event will be held at Olympic Heights Community High School in Boco Raton, Florida and offer several prizes totaling in $1000 cash.
Fit and fabulous mom’s are invited to get on stage in a two-part contest that showcases how everyday women are looking great while juggling work and family life. The first portion of the event will be a fitness round and the second will be a showcase for hot evening looks. Judges will judge outfits, stage presence and personality of the competitors. As an added bonus there will be local media coverage and photographers as well as gift bags and raffles for the audience. There will even be an opportunity for contestants to bring their children on stage.
There will be three classes for the event. Class A will be for ages 25 to 30+; Class B will be for women over the age of 40 and Class C will be for women over the age of 50. The first, second and third place winners of each class will receive a trophy and $150, $100 or $75 (respectively) in prize money.
“The Fit and Fabulous Hot Mom Contest” is a family event to showcase the power of fit and healthy women. Children will be welcome at the event and it is designed to be a fun, uplifting and educational evening for all in attendance.
Laura London is a 45-year old mother of three who transformed her body to be trim, fit and healthy. Through simple yet effective lifestyle changes and exercise routines she lost 20-pounds to turn 40 from middle age to fabulous. As a fitness role model and health and wellness couch, London wants to show people that they can “Exercise their right to be sexy” at any age.
