Santa Barbara, CA, August 29, 2011 -- Hollywood, CA – Icon News officially hits the red carpet circuit with the Teen Choice Awards, Equality Awards and Diamonds Not Fur event for PETA, hosted by Betty White, with carpet correspondent Sheri Nadel, known for her red carpet reporting at the annual Oscar, Emmy and Grammy Awards events.
The show began taping July 2011, and has been officially announced to air this fall 2011 on Dish Network, TUFF TV and other networks, by Tsunami Worldwide Media, who represents the show and Atomic Lawn Entertainment, LLC who produces the show, starring Lew Marklin (ADHDtv, Robbery Homocide Division).
The show will showcase celebrities, in studio, via skype, and live on the red carpets in the thirty mile zone. Stars and Icons to include Eric Roberts (Dark Knight), Jesse Brune (celeb Chef & Trainer), Adam Lambert (American Idol), Lil J (Something About Rayven, 9nine), Dominic Rains (General Hospital, JINN), Christina DeRosa (Extreme Date Movie), Cassandra Hepburn (Hell Ride), John Schneider (Dukes of Hazard), Sam Sparro, Johanna Krupa (Dancing with the Stars), Georgia Van Cuylenburg (Final Fantasy XIII, Jimmy Kimmel Live), Ross Mathews (Chelsea Lately, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno), Kaya Jones (Pussycat Dolls) and many more.
The show, cast and producers, stand behind issues such as equality, the end of worldwide poverty, putting an end to racism, animal cruelty and use Hollywood as its platform.
