Fargo, ND, August 30, 2011 -- Intelligent InSites Inc., the leading provider of enterprise RTLS software helping hospitals improve patient satisfaction and operational performance while supporting multiple RTLS technologies, has been invited to share its expertise on RFID and RTLS (Real-Time Location Systems) in healthcare during the 33rd Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC ’11).

EMBC’11, held August 30 to September 4 in Boston, Massachusetts, will cover diverse topics ranging from biomedical engineering to healthcare technologies to medical and clinical applications.

During the Intelligent Hospital Workshops, led by Paul H. Frisch, PhD, Chief, Biomedical Physics & Engineering at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Intelligent InSites will show practical examples of how RFID and RTLS solutions are able to bring fundamental change and improvement to both hospital operational efficiency and patient outcomes.

“For a hospital, using RFID or RTLS solutions for optimized asset management across the healthcare enterprise can drive tremendous hard-dollar cost savings,” said Marcus Ruark, Vice President of Marketing at Intelligent InSites, who will represent the company at EMBC’11. “Further, RTLS solutions can also transform patient flow and capacity management, driving additional performance outcomes and improvements in patient care and patient satisfaction.”
